So I am a dad again, which is a little hectic ha ha, and I have finished my collaboration album finally!! and am just i the mastering process, so as soon as it is done I shall put an album sampler up for everyone to hear. A friend of mine (DJ TWIT)has just finished his new cut an paste mix tape and its great, you can get it here..Il be back soon with the finished album...

Again months past without me keeping this up to date! to be fair I have been very busy, in ten days I will be a dad again and then I'm gonna chill out for a bit, but for now I am waiting for some sample clearance on a song for the album ..which is all finished and needs to be mastered and I plan to get this done as soon as I can...

I have also been recording with a great MC by the name of Definitial, I recorded him on a track for the album and then we decided to do some more stuff, so I found out 5 beats I had lying around, I wrote some tracks for some MCs' but they were never used artists like THE HILLTOP HOODS and DAS EFX, So Def has wrote to these songs and we are slowly recording them when time lets us both, one track finished at the moment, I will keep you all posted on this for when its finished.

So hopefully the next post on here will be the album being finished!! lets hope after five years it will be haha....

Time fly's fairly quickly as I can already see that is been two months since I last wrote any thing! Well to be fair, Iv been quite busy working on the script for my movie and have not worked on any music ..I have been sorting out things and problems with the TWO FACES OF GOOD AND EVIL album as I have MARY ELLIOT ready to sing on another song for the album which will take it to three songs she has blessed, If you have not heard Mary's voice please go over to my music page and look for a song which features her and check it out, she is a great singer and I'm well happy I am the only person she works with, I have an idea to see if she would like to do a one off gig with me on the decks and her singing, but I shall run this past her and see what she thinks. I have a another pal of mine who has a good voice kinda like David Bowie to sing on another song but he has reservations about it, so as he is Irish I think I just need to get him drunk and he will do it, I also have DEEFLUX ready for a part of a song, which I'm happy about, I really wanted an MC some where in the album, Id almost feel that I had not put my own genre love in to the album if I had not an MC,Check Deeflux out if you have not already.

EVILUTION the zombie movie I wrote two songs for a couple of years ago (sometimes films take a long time to get out) it has a release date for september in the US but I am waiting for the producer to let me know on the UK release date.

Apart from that I have not been gigging or doing to much on the music front...but I have been doing lots of pre planning of projects so stick with me ad keep checking once in a while for updates on here and I will get the site funked up soon as I have a moment,cheers....

I feel bad as this page has just been a little blank of lately! Life has been a bit busy here..but there is stuff to say, Iv been gigging loads as its the summer time and have not spent much time in the studio but I am now back on it...My collaboration album (THE TWO FACES OF GOOD AND EVIL) is very close to completion, a couple of tracks need to be touched up and mixed down then that's it! which I'm well happy about it will be another chapter of my musical life finished, ha ha then it will be the start of my solo album (THE REVENGE OF DR DEATH) well apart from the fact I will become a dad again the the end of the year so that one may take a while to start.

I am slowly working on my new mix tape (INTERMIXTURE VOL 3) and this site will become a bit more pro when I figure out the pictures and background stuff I want on it.

Right so that's a bit better some actual content on here for a change..be back soon

Sorry, not much news on the music front at the moment, Iv been getting carried away with making a horror movie! I recently wrote a screenplay for a horror movie idea that I had and have decided to shoot it real budget style with a camcorder.When I have finished it, I intend on trying to find finacing to remake the movie with a budget and HI DEF camera's. you can check out a scene here UPON A KNIFES EDGE, I am also on IMDB now here.

I have been asked to do an interview on Nocturnal Elements, This is a good net radio station, that specializes in the scratch DJ, They have played my song Ladies and Gents- get down in episode 5 on the show, Check it out and represent the scratch DJ..

Just waiting on a singer for some vocals at the moment then after mixing them down, the collab album will be near to completion, its been going on so long now that I am again starting to bore of it, I love it to bits but its just always dragging ..I think I much prefer to work solo...but its always great bouncing off ideas with other people. Nothing else at the moment...non music related I have been learning to edit visuals and have been digging filming skateboarding, a long time passion of mine... more soon

The march copy of HIP HOP CONNECTION has DJ YODA reviewing my mix tape INTERMIXTURE VOLUME 2 this is the review...

"Finally, and also rather creepy, is Chuckie Steel's 'Intermixture Vol 2' - a blend of his rather specific influences of 80s horror and leftfield hip hop beats,

which results in a rather satisfyiningly original listen. Some less obvious samlples keep things interesting, and there are joints from everyone from Bjork to

Del The Funkee Homosapien to Abdominal. The whole effect is creepy and it would be a great Halloween mix - and either way it's definitaley the most

I have a song in a new snow boarding/ photography video: Deep Winter Challenge check out the video it has some nice riding in it for you snow board heads.

 

At the moment I'm really excited about my collaboration album, it has been over 4 years in the making! and I feel at the moment its the right time to finish it, I don't have to many major time consuming projects so i can just concentrate on it,

Happy New Year to every one...

At the moment the cd (best of) is on hold as no art work or name tittle have been finalized, but the master is all done, so if anyone would like a copy please just ask and I can email you a sample version.

The video for the Futuretro light project is all finished, Il upload the movie as soon as I have a copy, I have also been in meeting for the project TREE, the larger scale version of SEED, which will hopefully be happening in the summer, actually at the pond (Frensham pond/ Farnham, Surrey, UK) it will include two live choirs and live dance acts around the pond and hopefully on it, Il keep you more posted on this at unfolds.

Iv also been asked to remix the song Snake charmer for the band Gizelle Smith check out their myspace page.

Also I should be getting a logo and a revamp on the site soon, just to keep pushing it forward for the 09.....

Recently, I have been putting together a best of album, basically I was asked if I would like to be a featured artist on the THE CHAINSAW MAFIA web site, which can also sell my music, But I soon realized I needed to get a new cd sorted out, So I thought the best thing to do is to put one together, just working on the art work idea at the moment, then an artist will create the cover for me and I will venture into getting some units pressed up for sale on the site and of course on here.

I will keep you all informed of how this is going, the content itself is already to be burnt on to disks, like I said its just the art work now to be done, and the tittle!
